Isla Bela — Courtyard Apartments, Duplexes and Penthouses in the Golf Valley, Nueva Andalucía

Isla Bela is a large new-build scheme in Nueva Andalucía, the inland bowl behind Puerto Banús that the coast knows as the Golf Valley. The plan takes the traditional Andalusian courtyard and opens it up: blocks are arranged around planted patios so that most homes are lit from two sides. Sizes run from 81 to 299 m², from two-bedroom apartments through duplexes to penthouses, and the sea is under a kilometre and a half away. Handover is scheduled for the first quarter of 2028.

The homes

Interiors follow a single logic across the range: a kitchen-lounge as the main room, full-height glazing to a covered terrace, fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms and underfloor heating below. Air conditioning is pre-installed. The variety is in the format rather than the finish — ground-floor homes take private gardens, middle floors deep covered terraces, the penthouses solariums, and the duplexes split living and sleeping across two levels with up to 299 m² to work with.

Outdoor living. Because the buildings wrap the patios rather than facing a single front, terraces point north, east, south and west depending on the home — worth knowing when choosing, since the west-facing terraces hold the evening sun and the south ones the sea outlook. Every home has a storage room and parking below ground, with more than one space available and electric-vehicle charging installed.

On-site amenities

The grounds are gated and laid out as landscaped gardens around the communal pool, with the patios doubling as sheltered sitting areas out of the wind. Indoors there is a heated pool for year-round swimming and a residents' gym.

The Golf Valley earned its name honestly: Aloha, Las Brisas, Los Naranjos and La Quinta all lie within the same bowl of hills, which is why this is the part of Marbella that fills with golfers rather than beach traffic. Isla Bela sits in the lower half of the valley, on the Puerto Banús side rather than up towards the ridge.

Playas del Duque and the Banús marina are both about a kilometre and a half down the hill — a short drive, or a walk for the determined. International schools, clinics and the everyday shops of the valley are minutes away, San Pedro de Alcántara is the nearest full town centre, and Málaga Airport is roughly 45 minutes east on the AP-7.
